Amazon search

Uhoo! I managed to figure out how to embed a search on Amazon for my books on my books page. It looks like this:

Cool, right?

  1. Hello Thomas, I am not sure if you are aware of this problem, but I have just purchased a copy of Meta-programming in R from Amazon.co.uk received this morning. The book actually as “Object-oriented Programming in R” bound inside the meta-programming cover. I’ve asked for a new copy from Amazon but I’m worried this might have been a whole batch problem, particularly as the look-inside facility at Amazon for the meta book actually also has the object-oriented programming content. Regards, Peter Stanbridge

  2. If that is the case, then there is a good chance that it is me who’s made a mistake in the formatting of the PDF and not Amazon. I’m really sorry about that. I can upload a new PDF, though, but I’m not sure what Amazon will do about a returned copy when it isn’t their mistake. I’m really sorry.

  3. Hmm, my PDF has the right title, so it isn’t there the problem is. Let me check what is on Amazon…

  4. There’s a good chance that I have uploaded the wrong PDF last time I updated the paperback :( It looks like the PDF for MP in R actually contains OOP in R :( I’m fixing that now. If you send me an email with info, I’ll send you a new copy of MP in R.
