Schizophrenia: The Mystery of the Missing Genes
Neuroskeptic has a very interesting post on the (basically failed) search for schizophrenia genes through genome wide association studies. GWAS have in general been extremely successful, but studies of schizophrenia just do not find anything. Even pooling data in meta analysis doesn’t get you far.
