Am I getting too old?

…for completely relating to the beginning of this song?

My second computer was a Vic 20.  I know that that puts me in the young category amongst most of my colleagues, but it certainly puts me in the “older than dirt” category amongst my students.

Oh well, enough time wasted on youtube tonight.  I have to finish two papers this week, so I have to get up early tomorrow, so off to bed with me…

    Definitely getting to old, definitely at least as old as dust, and definitely spending to much time on Youtube :)

    Ha! You’re older than me. My 1st was a Commodore 64. And you never learned the joy of programming until you coded a jumping frog in C64′s text font (24×40 screen) using a FORTH running from your cassette drive.

    Pretty good, thanks. The project is kind of unstructured, so we have spent a lot of time just reading papers and trying to figure out what we really want the project to be about. You can follow the progress on http://www.cs.au.dk/~asand/ if you want to. I’ll try to keep it updated.
    Besides that: The weather is nice and the beers are good, so I won’t complain.

    Thanks for the update. Don’t worry about the project being unstructured – that is pretty normal for those summer projects – just get the most out of the stay, and yes do enjoy the beer (the weather won’t last).
