My new Macs have arrived
Tuesday, March 10th, 2009My Linux box is dying of old age, so I ordered a Macbook a while back. I also ordered an iMac for home (I have one at the office and I'm getting used to making presentations in Keynote, but I cannot do that at home without a Mac).
Ordering through the uni can be a bit slow (not because of the uni administration, surprisingly enough, but because we have to order through one specific company that is rather slow) but today, finally, the machines arrived and I've spent the afternoon setting them up.
Sweet.
Unfortunately, I didn't receive the adapters I need to connect the mac to projectors, so I cannot actually use the macbook for giving lectures or seminars -- which was one of the main reasons I needed it -- but I hope to get those soon.
